・To understand the realities of housing and related issues.
・To understand Japanese housing welfare policies from both housing policy and welfare policy perspectives.
・To be able to discuss and consider solutions to housing problems and policy issues related to housing welfare.
This class broadly addresses the housing-related issues that have emerged in contemporary Japanese society, including the current situation and the structural factors contributing to these problems. The objective of this class is to understand how these issues are connected to policies, and to explore the policies and challenges surrounding housing from both a historical and an international comparative perspective. Additionally, through their learning in this class, we will be able to discuss and consider practical and policy responses necessary to ensure housing for all.

・住宅政策と福祉政策の双方から、居住福祉に向けた日本の政策的な課題を理解する。
・住宅問題の改善にむけた支援や、居住福祉に向けた政策課題について、議論や考察ができるようになる。

この授業では、現代の日本社会で顕在化している「住むこと」に関する問題について、実態や問題が生じる構造的な要因を広く扱う。そしてそれらの問題と政策がどのように関わっているか、住宅をめぐる政策的なあり方とその課題を、歴史的観点および国際的な比較の観点から理解することを目的とする。さらに、授業で学んだことを通じて、居住をすべての人に保障するためには、どのような実践的、政策的な対応があるべきか、議論や考察できることを目指す。
