This course aims to help students develop fundamental knowledge and analytical thinking skills necessary for understanding civil law, particularly contract law. In addition to instructor lectures, students will engage in practical learning activities such as case studies, role-playing exercises, and mock trials to develop the ability to resolve contractual issues they may encounter in professional practice through legal reasoning. Furthermore, the course content is closely aligned with topics covered in civil service examinations. Through the use of past examination questions and similar materials, students will work to develop both critical thinking abilities and retain essential knowledge.
This course explores civil law, with a particular focus on contract law as it relates to practical challenges in welfare services. The course combines online and face-to-face instruction. The online sessions provide explanations of fundamental legal theories and key concepts in civil law. The face-to-face sessions primarily focus on case studies, deepening practical understanding through discussions, role-playing exercises, and mock trials. The instructor will select appropriate learning methods such as discussions based on students' level of understanding and the nature of the cases being studied. Additionally, the course incorporates past civil service examination questions related to each lecture topic to enhance understanding of the course material.

| オンライン授業回では、主に教員による解説を行います。対面授業回では、教員による解説に加え、問題演習やディスカッション・ディベート等を行うことにより、より深く理解できるよう促進します。 |
予習として、各テーマのキーワード（契約、成年後見、損害賠償）について、簡単にでもよいので調べておくことをおすすめします。また、判例・裁判例の検討においては、事前に事案の概要を配布しますので、何が起きたのか、何が問題となっているのかを把握しておきましょう。復習では、講義内容を暗記するよりも、理解することを優先して講義内容をふり返るようにしてください。予習と復習は、個々の学生によって所要時間が異なってくることと思いますが、予習にはおよそ30分、復習にはおよそ60分～80分程度要します。

民法を理解するうえでは、紛争当事者双方の立場から問題をとらえ、解決を考える思考力が不可欠です。しかしながら、法を初めて学ぶ人にとって、このような多角的視点に立って考えることはなかなか難しいことです。また、再び学びなおそうという人にとっても同様でしょう。よって、難しい概念や複雑な思考に直面しても根気強く学習に取り組み、積極的に議論する能力が求められます。

民法、特に契約法を理解するための基礎的知識と思考を身につけることを目標とします。教員による解説のほかに、事例検討やロールプレイ、模擬裁判などの実践的な学習を通じて、実務において直面する可能性のある契約上の問題について、法的な思考に基づいて解決する力を養います。さらに、講義で扱う内容は、公務員試験の出題分野とも密接に関連しています。公務員試験の過去問等を活用し、思考能力だけでなく知識の定着を図ります。

本講義では、民法、特に契約法について、福祉サービスにおける実務的な課題に焦点を当てながら学習を進めます。講義は、オンライン授業と対面授業を組み合わせて実施します。オンライン授業では、民法の基本的な理論や重要概念について解説します。対面授業では、主に事例の検討を、ディスカッション、ロールプレイ、模擬裁判などを通じ、実践的な理解を深めます。ディスカッション等の手法は、受講者の理解度や事案の内容により、教員が適宜選択します。また、講義で取り扱ったテーマに関連する公務員試験の過去問を用いて、講義内容の理解を深めます。
