When addressing regional issues, a perspective centered solely on "Tokyo" is often insufficient for success. The objectives of this course are to enable students to:
・Recognize the diversity of regional contexts and underlying assumptions through a wide range of domestic and international case studies.
・Identify why regional policies may fail and understand the specific points where "Regional Management" faces significant challenges and difficulties.
・Apply practical methods and tools of regional management, with a particular focus on the implementation of "Evaluation" techniques.
After examining the various actors that support regional management, this course will introduce specific case studies from the Kansai and Shinshu regions. Building on these examples, we will further explore the intersections between regionality and globalization. In addition to theoretical study, the course incorporates practical training sessions to apply specific methodologies and tools.

| 教員が準備するシステム上にてリアルタイムな授業参加をする。学生はスライド上に表示された QR コードや URLから入力フォームにアクセスし、スマートフォンやタブレットなどの ICT 機器から回答する。回答されたコメントは教員のICT 機器にリアルタイムに集計され、教員とのディスカッションなど双方向授業に活用される。ICT 機器を所持していない場合や機器にトラブルが生じた場合は、授業後にアナログ形式（紙やノート等）でコメントを教員に提出しても構わない。また生成 AI を用いた授業促進も準備している。詳細は初回授業で説明する。 This course implements real-time, interactive lectures utilizing ICT devices and Generative AI. 1. 地域の諸課題に取り組むとき、「東京」の視点だけで考えていては上手くいかない。
本授業の目標は、以下の 2 点である。
・国内外のさまざまな事例を通じて、地域の事情や前提が多様であることをわかるようになる。
・どのような時に地域の政策がうまく行かないのか、「地域経営」が困難に直面するポイントを理解できるようになる。
・地域経営やマネジメントの手法や方法（とくに「評価」）を実践できるようになる。

地域経営を支えるアクターを順に見たあと、関西と信州の事例を紹介し、その上で地域のグローバリゼーションとの接点に言及する。実際の手法やメソッドについても実習する。
