This course is an elective capstone course in the Department of Community Development. Under the supervision of faculty members, students identify and explore their own research interests, and compile the outcomes of their research and practical work into either a Seminar Paper or a Graduation Thesis.
The course enables students either to further develop research projects conducted in the qualitative research practicum or to initiate and refine new research themes based on their own academic interests.
The literature for shared reading will focus on social research methods. For individual presentations, students are expected to conduct a comprehensive literature review and a thorough examination of relevant materials.

コミュニティ政策学科での学修の集大成となる選択科目である。各教員の指導の下、各自の問題関心を探究し，その研究・実践の成果を取りまとめ、「演習論文」または「卒業論文」を作成する。
社会調査実習（質的クラス）で行った調査研究を発展させることも、この演習から新たな研究テーマを展開することも、どちらも可能である。
