This course is an elective capstone course in the Department of Community Development. Under the supervision of faculty members, students identify and explore their own research interests, and compile the outcomes of their research and practical work into either a Seminar Paper or a Graduation Thesis.
This seminar aims to build on the foundational skills developed in the third-year seminar, including gender analysis, fieldwork, and academic reading, in order to deepen students’ own research interests and questions.
Students will work toward completing their graduation thesis or seminar paper by engaging with topics such as gender and violence, peace and security, international civil society movements, and militarism and local communities. Through literature reviews, examination of prior research, and data collection and analysis, students will advance their academic writing and research projects.

コミュニティ政策学科での学修の集大成となる選択科目である。各教員の指導の下、各自の問題関心を探究し，その研究・実践の成果を取りまとめ、「演習論文」または「卒業論文」を作成する。
本演習では、3年次演習で身につけたジェンダー分析、フィールドワーク、文献読解の基礎を発展させ、自身の問題関心や研究上の問いをより明確にし、研究成果を卒業論文または演習論文としてまとめることを目的とする。
ジェンダーと暴力、平和・安全保障、国際市民社会運動、軍事主義と地域社会といったテーマを中心に、文献調査、先行研究の整理、データ収集および分析を通じて、論文執筆を段階的に進める。
