This elective course is the culmination of learning in the Department of Community Policy. Under the guidance of a faculty member, students will explore their own issues of interest, compile the results of their research and practice, and write a "seminar paper" or "graduation thesis."
The seminar paper will be approximately 10,000 characters long and should be completed in 2A.
In Exercise 1B, students will conduct research on the issues they worked on collaboratively (the human rights of foreign residents, including measures to combat hate speech; LGBTQ issues, the human rights of LGBT people; NPOs supporting young people in Shinjuku's Kabukicho area and efforts to promote independence; and the working environment surrounding young people, including harassment), including interviews with those involved, local government officials, and NPO support groups, surveys, and literature research.
In Exercise 2A, collaborative research will also be permitted.
Progressive reports will be made in the seminar.

コミュニティ政策学科での学修の集大成となる選択科目である。各教員の指導の下、各自の問題関心を探究し，その研究・実践の成果を取りまとめ、「演習論文」または「卒業論文」を作成する。
演習論文は1万字程度を目安として、２Aでの執筆完了を目指す。

演習１Ｂで、共同作業で進めてきた課題（ヘイトスピーチ対策をはじめとする定住外国人の人権、LGBTQ問題に関し、LGBT当事者の人権、新宿歌舞伎町で若者たちを支援するNPO団体や自立のための取り組み、ハラスメントをはじめとする若者を取り巻く労働環境）に関し、当事者や自治体担当者・NPO支援団体へのインタビュー、アンケート、文献調査をはじめとする研究を進める。
演習２Aにおいては、共同研究も認める。
逐次、ゼミで報告する。
