In this course, students will gain an understanding of Japanese sports culture from a global perspective and acquire basic knowledge of community sports theory in order to cultivate "advanced knowledge and abilities that contribute to the improvement of wellness for all people and the building of a wellness society, as well as a rich sense of humanity.
In this lecture, based on previous discussions related to the questions of what is sports culture and how do we think about sports, lectures will be given to deepen understanding of issues in Japanese sports from multiple perspectives including politics, economy, society, education, and welfare. Slide presentations and videos related to the lecture topics will be used in each hourly lecture. Students are required to submit a reaction paper for each lecture. In-class tests will be given at the middle and end of each lecture.

本講義では、学科の基本方針である「すべての人のウエルネス向上とウエルネス社会の構築に寄与する高度な知見と能力、豊かな人間性」を養うためグローバルな視点から日本のスポーツ文化を理解し、コミュニティスポーツ論の基礎的な知識を身につける。

本講義ではスポーツ文化とは何か、スポーツをどのように考えるのか、という問いに関わるこれまでの議論を踏まえ、日本スポーツの課題を政治、経済、社会、教育、福祉など多面的な視角から理解を深める講義を行う。毎時の講義では講義テーマに関連したスライド提示や映像を活用します。毎時の講義ではリアクションペーパーを提出します。また講義の中間回と最終回に授業内テストを実施します。
