【Course Objectives】

In this course, you will develop knowledge and an understanding of sport from global, cultural, and social perspectives. You will also build skills to analyse and discuss social factors influencing sport and sport affecting societies in English.

【Course Contents】

This course is a two-way live-stream lecture series. Each week consists of a lecture and group discussion on sports sociology and the relevant articles. Many of the skills and knowledge you will learn in this course are obtained sequentially, and it is advisable that you attend every week. If this is not possible, contact your lecturer in advance to ensure proper help to catch up on what you may have missed. Course structure would be flexibly modified based on the social circumstances and student English skills.
