This course recognizes that biodiversity is the foundation supporting the global environment and human life. Through its connections to international affairs and the economy, students will understand that its conservation is an urgent priority.
Furthermore, students will focus on the biodiversity around them, cultivating the sensitivity to discover the interconnectedness of life. They will develop the ability to communicate the wonder and value they discover in their own words to others, while also learning methods to protect and nurture the nature close to them with their own hands.
Through lectures, discussions, and presentation competitions, students will gain an understanding of the fundamental concepts of biodiversity and its relationship with human society. They will also conduct surveys of campus biodiversity and engage in activities to communicate and conserve it.

本講義では、生物多様性が地球環境や人類の生活を支える基盤であることを認識し、国際情勢や経済との関わりを通じて、その保全が喫緊の課題であることを理解します。
また、足元の生物多様性に目を向け、生命のつながりを発見する感性を養います。そこでの驚きや価値を自らの言葉で他者に伝える力を身につけるとともに、身近な自然を自らの手で守り育む方法を学びます。

講義、ディスカッション、プレゼン大会などを通して、生物多様性の基本概念と人間社会との関わりについて理解する。また、キャンパスの生物多様性を調査し、それを伝え、保全する活動も行う。
