In this class, students will learn the purpose, theory, and practical areas of sport management, and aim for the following points.
1. Understand and explain the basic theory of sport management.
2. Be able to give an example of contemporary sports issues and express your thoughts.
3. Understand the basic knowledge of sport management methods.
What is the significance and value of sports in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and COVID-19 pandemic? With such rapid changes in society, the way we are involved in sports such as doing, spectating, and supporting is also changing. Therefore, in order to reconsider the value of sports, the perspective of developing sports as a culture is required. Therefore, in this class, we will lecture on the issues and management methods of modern sport in various practical areas of sports management.

プロスポーツ、学校体育、地域スポーツ等の幅広い分野について興味、関心を持ち、自分なりにその分野に対する課題をもっていることが必要。
１．Power Pointを使用した講義形式で、映像資料等を適宜活用する。
２．毎回の授業課題について、次回授業での10分解説を行い、このテーマでの各自の意見を数名で共有し、多様な意見との比較から、自分の意見を深く考察します。
３．授業テーマに応じて、授業内で15分程度グループワークやディスカッションを行い、まとめた意見を授業全体で共有することを実施する授業回があります。
本授業では、スポーツマネジメントの目的、理論、実践領域を学び、以下の点を目標とする。
1.スポーツマネジメントの基礎的な理論を理解し、説明することができる。
2.スポーツの現代的課題について例をあげ、自らの考えを述べることができる。
3.スポーツマネジメント手法の基本的な知識を理解することができる。

2020東京五輪開催、コロナ禍におけるスポーツはどのような意義や価値を持つのでしょうか。このような社会の急速な変化に伴い、する、みる、ささえる等のスポーツへの関わり方にも変化が生じている。そのため、スポーツの価値を改めて考えていくうえでは、文化としてのスポーツを発展させていく視点が求められている。そのため、本授業では、スポーツマネジメントの多様な実践領域において、現代スポーツが抱える課題、マネジメント手法を講義する。
