Sport administration aims to develop various conditions of nations’ sport in the perspectives of public welfare and promote sport widely. In this lecture, students will understand the basic concept on sport administration, and the future direction of sport administration/ policy, referring to contemporary issues of actual sport administration in relation to central and local government.
In this lecture, students understand concepts and basic principles of sport administration.This lecture also explores the sport administration structure of the central government and local government which were significantly changed because of enactment of the Sport Basic Act and the establishment of Japan Sport Agency, action plans of sport administration and individual sport policies.In addition, students implement policy making which aims to solve practical issues, being a position to sport administrators, using basic knowledge through this lecture.

スポーツ行政は、公共的福祉の視点から国民のスポーツに関わる諸条件を整備し、スポーツを広く普及奨励することをねらいとしている。本授業では、スポーツ行政に関する基礎概念を理解し、国及び地方自治体の実際のスポーツ行政における現代的課題を取り上げ、今後のスポーツ行政・政策の方向性について理解することを目指す。

本授業では、スポーツ行政に関する諸概念や基礎理論を理解するとともに、スポーツ基本法の制定、スポーツ庁の創設などにより著しく変化してきた我が国の中央政府及び地方自治体のスポーツ行政組織、スポーツ行政計画、個別スポーツ政策を概観する。さらには、本授業で身に付けた基礎知識を用いて、各自がスポーツ行政の立場に立って実際の課題解決に向けた政策立案を実践する。
