This course aims to provide students with an understanding of the role of "emergency response" within the JSPO-AT role, and to equip them with practical knowledge to provide the highest level of emergency response possible in the field, which they can then pass on to medical qualification holders. In addition, it aims to provide students with an understanding of the characteristics and significance of emergency response in sporting activities.
Students will learn about the importance of first aid and the mindset of those who administer it, and will understand the basic points to keep in mind when administering first aid. In addition, by learning how to respond when an emergency accident occurs, students will understand the appropriate procedures for first aid and acquire accurate injury assessment methods to determine the urgency of the situation. Students will understand the significance and purpose of first aid, and will be able to understand the appropriate procedures and basic points to keep in mind. Furthermore, the goal of this class is to deepen students' understanding of the "preciousness of life," which we believe is even more important. Students will acquire the awareness to protect not only the "career of the athlete" during sports activities, but also "life" itself.

日本スポーツ協会公認アスレティックトレーナー（JSPO-AT）の資格取得に必須の科目である。
本科目では、JSPO-AT の役割における「救急対応」の位置づけを理解したうえで、医 療資格保持者に引き継ぐための現場で出来る最高レベルの救急対応ができる実践的な 知識を習得することをねらいとする。合わせて、スポーツ活動現場における救急対応 の特性と意義を理解することをねらいとする。

救急処置の重要性や実施者の心得について学び、救急処置の基本的な留意点について理解する。また緊急の事故が発生した際の対応方法を学ぶことによって、適切な救急処置の手順を理解し、緊急性を判断するための的確な傷害評価の方法を身につけることを目的とする。救急処置の意義と目的を理解し、適切な救急処置の手順や基本的な留意点について理解できるようになるとともに、それ以上に大切だと考える「命の尊さ」を本授業を通じて理解を深めることを目標とする。スポーツ活動中の「選手生命」を守るだけでなく、「生命」そのものを守る意識を習得する。
