Physical inactivity is a major non-communicable disease worldwide. The significant benefits of regular physical activity to physical and psychological health have been shown. However, many people do not participate in physical activity at all or drop out of participating in sport or exercise shortly. It is important for coaches, educators, and health promotors to understand how to motivate others to participate in sport or exercise and support them in enjoying their activities. This course is designed to provide students with key concepts of motivation strategies in sport and exercise settings. Students will be introduced to major contemporary human motivation theories.

| Student Academic Integrity Academic misconduct such as plagiarism and unauthorized use of other's work leads to a disqualification for the final grade, regardless of the number of misconduct. Statements on the AI Use In this course, the generative AI tools may be used for brainstorming, refining ideas, or draft assistance. However, students are not allowed to copy AI-generated texts and images into individual and group assignments. Students must cite any AI-generated materials adequately whenever they use them. Unacknowledged use of AI-generated materials is treated as academic misconduct and would result in disciplinary consequences (e.g., a failing grade). | ||
