Upon completion of the course students should have the ability to communicate sports content utilizing the 3 component model, 1) personal instruction to individuals, groups, or teams, 2) mediate communication through social media, and 3) promotions through marketing, public relations and research. In doing so, students will be create and share English content related to the university sport teams and activities of the College of Sport and Wellness on social media and in a biweekly blog.
Build upon the content and skills introduced in English Communication in Sport 1. Students should be comfortable sharing information about themselves, favourite athletes and teams, provide instructions on health exercises, and communicate outcomes of sporting events using a box score. Expanding on these skills students will generate and publish content in one of four categories, athlete profiles, team profiles, competition results and wellness promotion in a Sport & Wellness blog and/or newsletter.

Students should have completed English Communication in Sport 1 and have achieved a grade "B" or higher in the class.
Alternatively, students need a documented English proficiency of greater than 5.5 IELTS or an equivalent.
