This course will provide an in-depth study of the specialized academic procedures of history.
It will also develop the following fundamental skills for writing a research paper:
(1) Ability to clearly express one's concerns.
(2) Ability to accurately critique previous research and position one's own research within that context.
(3) Ability to gain the ability to position and view one's own issues from a broader perspective.
(4) Ability to accurately derive points of discussion and arguments from historical sources.
This will be decided in consultation with students.
Basically, after some guidance, the class will be held in a seminar format, with individual research presentations (or group reading of key literature on the research topic).

歴史学の専門的な学問手続きについて深く学びます。
論文作成にあたっての以下のような基本的な力を育みます。
（１）問題意識を明確に表現することができる。
（２）先行研究の批評を的確に行い、自らの研究をそこに位置づけることができる。
（３）より広い視野から自分の問題を位置づけて見る視点を獲得できる。
（４）史料から的確に論点や論述を導きだすことができる。

受講生と相談して決めます。
基本的には若干のガイダンスののち、個人の研究報告（あるいは研究テーマに関する主な文献の輪読）を行うゼミ形式の授業です。
