Throughout this course, students will enhance their ability to analyze and structure research discoveries and historical resources related to the history of Islamic art (the material culture of Islam) and Middle Eastern history.
In this seminar, participants will explore literature and documents related to the history of Islamic art (the material culture of Islam) and Middle Eastern history. Each class will include a designated presenter delivering a report, leading discussions aimed at enhancing understanding of previous literatures, recent trends in the field, and various approaches to interpreting historical sources.

Throughout this course, students will enhance their ability to analyze and structure research discoveries and historical resources related to the history of Islamic art (the material culture of Islam) and Middle Eastern history.
イスラーム美術史（イスラーム物質文化史）、西アジア史に関する文献講読・史料精読を行う。毎回、報告者を定めて報告を行った上で議論し、研究史と近年の研究状況、史料を解釈する上での多様な手法に関して理解を深める。
