This course aims for each student to set their own theme and, through conducting fieldwork in the neighborhood of Toshima-ku, acquire fundamental knowledge regarding the theory, practice, and ethics of fieldwork.
First, examine literature on fieldwork theory and the history and culture of the target area (Toshima-ku). Next, conduct on-site visits to local archives and museums to view historical materials. Students will then set their own research themes based on these activities and their individual interests. Subsequently, they will collect and analyze necessary materials to explore their chosen themes, develop research plans, and conduct fieldwork. Finally, each student will report on the results of their fieldwork, followed by a group discussion.

履修希望者は、【 2026年 4月4日（土）13：00～13：30 】に【 DB01 教室 】で行われる事前ガイダンスに出席してください。
本授業では受講生各自がテーマを設定し、豊島区近隣でのフィールドワークを行うことを通じて、フィールドワークの理論・実践・倫理に関する基本的な事項を身につけることを目標とする。
This course aims for each student to set their own theme and, through conducting fieldwork in the neighborhood of Toshima-ku, acquire fundamental knowledge regarding the theory, practice, and ethics of fieldwork.
まず、フィールドワークの理論及び対象地域（豊島区）の歴史と文化に関する文献を検討し、地域の資料館・博物館での史資料の実見を通じて、各自の関心に応じてテーマを設定する。続いて、各自のテーマを解明するために必要な資料を収集・分析し、調査計画を立て、フィールドワークを実施する。最後に各自のフィールドワークの成果を報告し、全員で議論を行う。
