In this course, each student will set their own research theme and conduct actual fieldwork in the neighborhood of Toshima-ku, acquiring fundamental knowledge regarding the theory, practice, and ethics of fieldwork. Furthermore, by creating a report, students will learn methods for analyzing data obtained through fieldwork, as well as techniques for description and argumentation.
In this course, students will first examine literature on fieldwork theory and the history and culture of the target area (Toshima-ku) while reviewing diverse fieldwork-based reports and ethnographies to concretely envision the form of their own final report. Next, students will set themes according to their individual interests and conduct fieldwork while collecting and analyzing the materials necessary to elucidate their chosen themes. Finally, they will compile their findings into a report.

履修希望者は、【 4月4日（土）13：00～13：30 】に【教室：DB01】で行われる事前ガイダンスに出席してください。
本授業では受講生各自がテーマを設定し、豊島区近隣でのフィールドワークを実際に行いながら、フィールドワークの理論・実践・倫理に関する基本的な事項を身につける。また、報告書を作成し、フィールドワークから得られた資料の分析方法や、記述・論述の仕方について学ぶ。

まず、フィールドワークの理論及び対象地域（豊島区）の歴史と文化に関する文献を検討するとともに、フィールドワークに基づく多様な報告書や民俗誌にあたり、自身の作成する成果報告書の形を具体的に構想する。次に、各自の関心に応じてテーマを設定し、テーマを解明するために必要な資料を収集・分析しながら、フィールドワークを行う。最後に、その成果を報告書にまとめる。
