In this class, we will study the history, theories of anthropology, and anthropological point of view. Students will learn how to relate their concern or research topic to anthropological theories.
Anthropologists immerse themselves in the local societies, disassembling their own thinking frameworks, and constructing a new way of reality based on ethnographic descriptions. In this class, we will learn the viewpoint of deconstructing our analytical frameworks, by referring to student's experience of fieldwork and anthropological readings on methodology.

本講義の目標は、文化人類学の観点から、他者の社会を描く技法を学び、自身の研究の問いを深化させることである。初回は対面実施とし、以後は履修者との相談により決定する。
In this class, we will study the history, theories of anthropology, and anthropological point of view. Students will learn how to relate their concern or research topic to anthropological theories.
フィールドワークで得たデータや情報は、研究者自身の分析枠組みや視点により再構築される。研究者は時として、自身の分析観点が対象社会の「問題」構築に関与し、新たな「現実」を生み出すことを経験する。本講義では、学生自身の研究やフィールドワークの経験も参照しながら、それをデータや論文にしてゆく過程について学ぶ。必要に応じ、文化人類学の方法論に関する文献も参照する。輪読文献や講義内容は、受講生の興味関心に応じて、授業内で相談しながら決定する。
