Students will consider the fundamental issues of writing history.
In this course, students will read through the historical research of the author, who has given careful thought to what historical writing is, and consider what is needed to enrich the historical research of adult and community education.In the meantime, students will learn about the history of adult and community education in post-war Japan by reading back issues of the monthly magazine“Social Education”.

歴史を叙述する営みとは何かについて、根本的に考えることができるようになる。
Students will consider the fundamental issues of writing history.
歴史叙述とは何かをしっかりと考えている著者の歴史研究を読破し、社会教育の歴史研究を豊かにするためには何が必要なのかを考える。その合間に、戦後日本の社会教育の歴史について、『月刊社会教育』のバックナンバーを読むことで学ぶ。
