This course aims to help students learn about characteristics and methods of the historical study of "living" advocated by Masakatsu Okado, and apply it to one's own research.
Students will intensively read "Questioning "Living": From the Field of History" edited by Okado Masakatu and Hasegawa Takahiko (Nihon Keizai Hyoronsha, 2022). There will also be opportunities for students to present their research in preparation for writing their master's thesis.

大門正克が提唱している「生存」の歴史学の特徴や方法について考察を深め、それを自らの研究に活かせるようにする。
This course aims to help students learn about characteristics and methods of the historical study of "living" advocated by Masakatsu Okado, and apply it to one's own research.
大門正克・長谷川貴彦編著『「生きること」の問い方―歴史の現場から』（日本経済評論社、2022年）を精読する。適宜、修士論文執筆等に向けての個人研究発表の機会も設ける。
