Students will develop comprehensive understanding of social issues surrounding education and cultivate the ability to evaluate and analyze educational activities based on the principles of sustainable human development. They will acquire skills to devise concrete solutions to various ethical challenges in educational practice, while developing the capacity to examine the social and personal impacts of education from diverse perspectives.
This course is designed to facilitate a multifaceted examination of the challenges confronting modern society and the role of education. With a focus on the SDGs, especially the concept of "sustainable human development," we will delve into ethical issues in education through critical engagement with scholarly literature. The selection of reading materials will be a collaborative process, guided by the interests of the participating students.

この授業は、文献の精読を通じて、その分野の先行研究について理解を深めることを目的とします。
授業の進め方は以下の通りです。
毎回の授業前に、担当者は指定箇所についてレジュメを作成しておく。報告者以外の受講生も文献の指定箇所を読み、内容を理解しておく。
授業では、担当者が作成したレジュメに基づき、担当箇所の内容を報告する。他の受講生は、報告に関する質疑応答に参加する。
報告後は、教員および受講生全員で討議を行う。文献の論旨や方法、知見について議論し、理解を深める。

教育を取り巻く社会的課題を包括的に把握し、持続可能な人間開発の理念に基づいて教育活動を評価・分析する力を培う。さらに、教育実践において生じる様々な倫理的課題に対して、具体的な解決策を立案する能力を身につけるとともに、教育が持つ社会的・個人的影響力について、多様な視点から考察できる力を育成する。

本講義は、現代社会が抱える課題と教育の役割を多角的に考察することを目的とし、SDGs、中でも「持続可能な人間開発：sustainable human development」の視点を重視しながら、教育に関連する倫理的な問題を文献講読により検討します。文献の選定にあたっては、参加者の皆様の関心に基づいて、共にテーマを決定する形式をとります。
