Students will develop the ability to understand the diverse impacts of technological advancement and globalization on education while exploring the essence of education and its potential for transformation. They will enhance their analytical skills regarding contemporary issues such as educational disparities and intercultural education, cultivating the ability to envision educational practices that contribute to building a sustainable society.
This course adopts a sociological framework to critically examine the multifaceted impacts of globalization and digital innovation on education. Centering on the sociology of education, we will analyze how educational digital transformation (DX) reshapes learning environments and influences social structures, particularly in relation to educational inequality. Furthermore, the course explores pedagogical strategies for intercultural education and the cultivation of human agency for a sustainable society from a socio-structural perspective. The selection of literature will be a collaborative process, specifically tailored to the students' own sociological inquiries and research interests.

この授業は、文献の精読を通じて、その分野の先行研究について理解を深めることを目的とします。
授業の進め方は以下の通りです。
毎回の授業前に、担当者は指定箇所についてレジュメを作成しておく。報告者以外の受講生も文献の指定箇所を読み、内容を理解しておく。
授業では、担当者が作成したレジュメに基づき、担当箇所の内容を報告する。他の受講生は、報告に関する質疑応答に参加する。
報告後は、教員および受講生全員で討議を行う。文献の論旨や方法、知見について議論し、理解を深める。

テクノロジーの進化やグローバル化が教育にどのような影響を与えているかを正しく理解し、教育の本当の役割や、これから教育がどう変わっていけるかを探る力を養います。また、教育格差や、異なる文化を持つ人たちが共に学ぶための課題などを分析する力を高め、より良い未来の社会を作るために『どのような教育を行っていくべきか』を具体的に企画・提案できる能力を身につけることを目指します。

この講義では、社会学の視点を中心に据え、グローバル化とデジタル革新が教育現場や制度にどのような変化をもたらしているかを多角的に分析します。特に、教育のデジタルトランスフォーメーション（DX）が学習環境をどう変え、それが新たな教育格差といった社会問題にどうつながっているのかを考察します。また、多文化共生や持続可能な社会を支える担い手を育てる方法について、社会構造や集団のダイナミクスの観点から探究します。文献の選定にあたっては、受講者の皆さんが持つ社会学的な問題意識や研究関心に寄り添い、対話を通じて共に学習テーマを決定していきます。
