To understand both (1) the classical idea of the aesthetic education and (2) its changing conditions in the 20th century onward, and (3) to considerate possibilities of the aesthetic education in our time.
Concerning (1) and (2), discussing on the basis of the following texts:
(1) Schiller: On the Aesthetic Education of Man
(2) Benjamin: The Work of Art in the Age of Its Mechanical Reproduction.
Concerning (3), discussing on the basis of my own empirical and theoretical investigations.

To understand both (1) the classical idea of the aesthetic education and (2) its changing conditions in the 20th century onward, and (3) to considerate possibilities of the aesthetic education in our time.
(1) (2)についてはそれぞれ以下のテキストを読んで討論を行います。
(1) シラー「人間の美的教育について」
(2) ベンヤミン「複製技術時代の芸術作品」
(3)については今井が行った共同研究を紹介して討論を行います。
