Students will practice reading primary and secondary literatures in German correctly and critically. Students acquire knowledge about different research fields and topics in German cultural studies. Through these trainings students will develop the ability to carry out their research activities autonomously.
As in the spring term, we will continue to read a selection from an anthology of essays and criticism by leading 20th century philosophers. In the autumn term, we will read texts on the theme of 'peace'.

ドイツ語原典の一次文献（および二次文献）を正確に、批判的に読む訓練を行う。ドイツ語圏文化研究の分野における研究のフロンティアについて知識を習得しつつ、自ら問題設定を行い、自律的な研究活動を遂行する力を養う。
Students will practice reading primary and secondary literatures in German correctly and critically. Students acquire knowledge about different research fields and topics in German cultural studies. 春学期に引き続き、20世紀の代表的な哲学者によるエッセイや評論を収録したアンソロジーの中から、いくつかピックアップして読んでいく。秋学期では、「平和」をテーマにしたテクストを読んでいく予定である。

毎回担当者を決め、担当者による訳読発表を中心に授業を進めていくが、予習は全員が行う。扱うテクストだけでなく、授業で紹介する文献も自ら読んでいく積極的な姿勢が求められる。
