QA314近代経済学２特講２と合同授業 |
Students will study modern structuralist macroeconomic approaches drawn on recent developments in behavioural economics and older literature from heterodox traditions, including Keynesian, institutionalist economics. Students will understand the potential of these approaches, which present an empirically grounded alternative to the paradigm that currently dominates macroeconomic theory.
Students will read "Structuralist and Behavioral Macroeconomics" by Peter Skott, a well-known heterodox macroeconomist. Students will discuss modern structuralist approaches and critiques of mainstream macroeconomics from a structuralist perspective using behavioural evidence and insights from Keynesian and institutionalist traditions. Modern structuralist approaches highlight how dynamic interactions across markets can generate instability, endogenous cycles and secular stagnation.

世界的に著名な、異端派のマクロ経済学者として知られるPeter Skott氏の"Structuralist and Behavioral Macroeconomics"を輪読し、行動経済学のエビデンスとケインズ派および制度派の伝統からの洞察を基に、現代のStructuralistアプローチのマクロ経済学を学ぶ。同時に、いわゆるLucas Critique以来、代表的経済主体の超合理性を前提とする、主流派マクロ経済学について批判的に検討する。現代のStructuralistアプローチは、市場間のダイナミックな相互作用がもたらす、内生的な景気循環や長期的な停滞を強調するが、それらの内的ロジックについて理解する。
Students will read "Structuralist and Behavioral Macroeconomics" by Peter Skott, a well-known heterodox macroeconomist.
