QA328世界経済特殊講義２と合同授業 |
Students will learn how the European Union has responded to the COVID-19 crisis through common recovery instruments, in particular NextGenerationEU, and how these policies have affected macroeconomic performance, catch-up with the EU average, and convergence or divergence among member states.
The European Union's recovery instrument NextGenerationEU, in particular the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF), supports investment and reforms in the member states. In this course, we will read official documents of the European Commission, the European Council and related empirical studies in English, and examine how the institutional design and allocation rules of NextGenerationEU/RRF affect member states' macroeconomic performance, per-capita income catch-up, and convergence or divergence. Assessment is based on class presentations, participation in discussions and a written report.

欧州連合（EU）の 次世代EU を中心とする共通の危機対応・復興政策が、加盟国のマクロ経済パフォーマンスと EU 平均へのキャッチアップ、ならびに加盟国間の収斂・乖離にどのような影響を与えているのかについて学ぶ。

欧州連合（EU）の次世代EU（とくに復興・強靱化ファシリティ：RRF）は、加盟国の投資と改革を支援する。本科目では、欧州委員会・欧州理事会などの英文公式文書と関連実証研究を輪読し、次世代EU／RRF の制度設計と配分ルールが、加盟国のマクロ経済パフォーマンスと一人当たり所得のキャッチアップ、収斂・乖離に与える影響を考える。成績評価は、授業での報告・議論への貢献および提出レポートに基づく。
