The goal is for students to understand the knowledge necessary for financial analysis in relation to corporate activities and business strategies, and to acquire the skills to put this knowledge into practice so that they can assess corporate management issues from a financial perspective.
Students will learn techniques to analyze and evaluate corporate managements by approaching them through financial numbers. Students will understand implications of systems and major subjects such as profit-and-loss statements, balance sheets and statement of cash flows from perspective of managements and business activities. At the same time, students will work on the case study about listed companies for financial analyses. They will learn hands-on how to read financial indicators and their relationships with corporate activities.

授業では簡単な計算を伴う演習などを実施するので、電卓（スマートフォンのアプリでも可）、PC、タブレットなど計算機能のある機器の持参を願う。/In class, we will be conducting exercises that involve simple calculations, so we ask that you bring a device with calculation capabilities, such as a calculator (smartphone app is also acceptable), PC, or tablet.
各回のテキスト等は授業実施5日程度前にCanvas LMSにアップロードされるので、各自でダウンロードして授業当日に持参する（PCやタブレット、紙など形式は自由）。/The texts for each class will be uploaded to Canvas LMS about 5 days before the class starts, so each student should download them and bring them on the day of the class (you can use any format you like, such as PC, tablet, or paper).
学生が企業の経営課題を財務面からも見極めることができるよう，財務分析に必要な知識を企業活動や事業戦略と関連付けて理解し、それを分析に実践できるスキル習得を目標とする。

財務数字を入口に，企業経営の状況を分析・評価する技法を学ぶ。損益計算書，貸借対照表、キャッシュフロー計算書各々の体系と主要項目について，経営や事業活動の側から見た意味合いを理解するとともに，上場企業を題材とした財務分析ケースに取り組むことで，財務指標の読み解き方や企業活動との関連を肌感覚として養う。
Students will learn techniques to analyze and evaluate corporate managements by approaching them through financial numbers.
