This course is designed for students to take immediately after enrollment, aiming to provide them with a solid foundation of knowledge and practical skills in business administration. Given that students are expected to come from diverse backgrounds, this course does not require any specific knowledge of business administration and economics. With this in mind, the course offers theory-focused lectures on the main areas of business administration, including corporate and business strategy, decision-making, organization and management, innovation and accounting. Simultaneously, group work will be performed in parallel. In this group work, each team will select a target company, and conduct a series of analyses on its internal and external environments, business strategy, and operations through the application of popular analytical frameworks relevant to each theme.
This lecture is held in two consecutive sessions every week. Each session begins with a lecture on the designated topic, followed by group work in the second half primarily involving case analysis. To assess the level of learning achievement, a final examination will be held. In addition, guest lecturers with extensive experience will be invited to enrich this course.

・本科目は、講義、受講生によるプレゼンテーション、受講生同士のディスカッションなど双方向形式で授業を展開する。
・双方向による授業の割合は全授業回数の50％以上である。
本コースの学生が入学後すぐに履修する科目で、経営学の基礎知識の修得と、実践的なスキル向上を目指す。受講生は多様なバックグラウンドをもつと想定されるため、経営学や経済学を系統的に学んできたことを前提とせず、経営学の主要分野（全社戦略、事業戦略、意思決定、組織とマネジメント、イノベーション、財務など) を広く網羅的に扱うことにする。同時に、グループワークを並行して進める。そこでは、各グループで対象企業を１つ定め、基本的なフレームワークを活用し、様々な視点で分析を行っていく。

この講義は、２コマ連続で授業を行う。毎回、前半は各回のテーマに応じた講義を行い、後半はグループワークを中心に、ケースの分析を行う形で授業を展開していく。また、学修の達成度をはかるため最終試験を行う。なお、テーマに応じたゲスト講師を２回招く予定である（ゲスト講義の日程については、変更されることがある)。
