ナラティヴの心理学／Psychology of Narrative Psychology of Narrative

【授業の目標 / Course Objectives】

近年、社会構成主義という考えが対人支援の領域にも届くようになってきた。この視座が意味するところは、人間についての本質や真実というものを目指すことはできず、常に関係性の中で交渉され、意味が生み出されるということである。本授業では、社会文化的側面、言語的側面を踏まえて、対話の必要性や可能性について学び、どのように実践につなげていくのかについて取り組んでいく。

In recent years, the idea of social constructionism has reached the field of interpersonal support. This perspective means that we cannot seek for an essence or truth about human beings, but that meaning is always negotiated and created within relationships. In this class, we will learn about the necessity and possibilities of dialogue, taking into account socio-cultural and linguistic aspects, and work on how to put it into practice.

【授業の内容 / Course Contents】

社会構成主義の考え方、近代的な思考方法の特徴、社会・文化・言語が私たちに影響を与えること、私たちを形作るナラティヴなどについて学ぶ。そして、ディスカッションやワークを通じて、学びを深めていく。

注記：講師は、ニュージーランドのワイカト大学で、ナラティヴ・プラクティスを学び、心理療法やカウンセリングの領域で臨床活動をしてきた。心理療法やカウンセリングを専門にしてきたため、組織、グループ、コミュニティ（以下、コミュニティと呼ぶ）に取り組んできた経験はそれほどありません。ですが、コミュニティに取り組む人々が、ナラティヴ・プラクティスに大きな可能性を見出し、学び始めている。そこで、このナラティヴ・プラクティスをどのようにコミュニティに活かすことができるのかについての書籍である、シュネ・スワート著「Re-authoring the world」を訳すことにした。本講座では、この内容についても、概要をお伝えする予定である。

We will learn about the ideas of social constructivism, the characteristics of modern ways of thinking, how society, culture, and language influence us, and the narratives that shape us. We will then deepen our learning through discussions and work.

Note: The lecturer studied narrative practice at the University of Waikato in New Zealand and has been engaged in clinical activities in the fields of psychotherapy and counseling. Since he has specialized in psychotherapy and counseling, he does not have much experience working with organizations, groups, and communities (hereinafter referred to as communities). However, people working in communities are finding great potential in narrative practice and are beginning to learn about it. Therefore, we decided to translate "Re-authoring the world" by Chené Swart, a book about how this narrative practice can be applied to communities. In this course, we will also provide an overview of this book.
