Notes

【Course Objectives】

After successfully completing the course students will be able to do the following:
1) Analyze audiences
2) Craft a range of messages to target audiences
3) Develop frameworks for conceptualizing strategic messages

【Course Contents】

This course offers an introduction to key fields in strategic communication. It offers an overview of various fields in which attempts at strategic communication are commonly practiced, including risk and crisis communication, public and media relations, and areas of entrepreneurship. Theoretical approaches to strategic communication will be buttressed by practice in constructing strategic messages. Students will be asked to analyze, and create, strategic documents relevant to corporate life.
