備考/ NotesNotes |
Upon completion of this course student will be able to:
1. Understand the principles of the entrepreneurship.
2. Learn how entrepreneurs organize, document, and communicate circular products and services.
3. Analyze strategies and ecosystems that impact circular entrepreneurship globally.
4. Evaluate circular business models using real-world case studies.
5. Gain theoretical and practical knowledge for entrepreneurial sustainability and transitions into circularity.
What is the circular economy? How do entrepreneurs organize, document, communicate, get investment for and market circular products and services? Through this course, students will discuss the principles of the circular economy and the strategies, ecosystems, and regulatory landscapes that set barriers and enablers for entrepreneurial business in a global comparative perspective. The course follows a problem-based learning approach, where students will work with examples of individual founders that aspire to work sustainably in relation to people, profit and planet. Students will choose their case company among nine case stories with real-world circular strategy to evaluate circular business models using relevant concepts and tools to guide their learning experience. The course is based on teamwork. By integrating key concepts from entrepreneurship, this class equips students with the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to make entrepreneurial transitions into circularity in a global perspective. The entrepreneurial cases are from several industries on five continents with exemplary experiences from both developing and developed countries.
