Through a review and discussion of national and international literature on families and intimate relationships, students will learn theories for understanding and analyzing the nature of the "Diversification of Family".
In recent years, "Diversification of Family" has attracted much attention, particularly in Europe and the United States. Theoretical studies to grasp the current situation have flourished in domestic and international family studies. In addition, the field of contemporary family studies has begun to actively introduce knowledge from other fields, such as feminism, queer theory, and political philosophy. It is difficult to understand contemporary family studies without being aware of these trends.
In this lecture, students will learn about these recent domestic and international trends in family research, with a specific focus on reviewing and discussing the literature on research trends and qualitative research on contemporary family situations.

本講義では、家族と親密な関係についての国内外の文献を講読し、ディスカッションすることで、「家族の多様化」のあり方を理解、分析するための理論の習得を目指す。
Through a review and discussion of national and international literature on families and intimate relationships, students will learn theories for understanding and analyzing the nature of the "Diversification of Family".
近年、欧米先進諸国を中心として「家族の多様化」が注目を集めており、国内外の家族研究ではその現状を捉えるための理論研究が活性化している。またフェミニズムやクィア理論、政治哲学など他分野の知見の導入も進んでおり、現代の家族研究はこうした動向を知ることなしに理解することは難しい。
本講義では、こうした近年の国内外の家族研究の動向を学ぶ。具体的には、研究動向に関する文献や、現代家族の状況に関する質的研究の文献を講読し、ディスカッションする。
