The objective of this course is to deepen understanding of the interactions between citizens or voters and politics and society from a micro-level perspective. Through close readings of foundational literature in political sociology, students aim to acquire fundamental knowledge in this field.
Each session will involve a close reading of major works (journal articles and books) related to the assigned theme. Participants will divide responsibility for the designated readings and give presentations. After confirming the fundamental concepts and points of argument, the group will engage in discussion to deepen overall understanding. While the course will generally proceed in accordance with the syllabus, adjustments may be made based on students’ interests and concerns, including reordering individual sessions or incorporating readings not originally listed in the course plan.

本講義の目標は，ミクロ的な視点から市民や有権者と政治・社会との相互作用について理解を深めることにある．
政治社会学にまつわる基礎文献の輪読を通して，当該分野の基礎的知識の獲得をめざす．
