This course aims to understand the "mobilities turn" in sociology and anthropology through a close reading of John Urry's "Mobilities".
In 2024, we read literature on Bruno Latour's Actor-Network Theory in this course. In 2025, we will discuss 'Mobility Studies,' which has developed significantly under the influence of Bruno Latour, while reading John Arri's "Mobilities." The class will focus on close reading of the literature and discussions.

This course aims to understand the "mobilities turn" in sociology and anthropology through a close reading of John Urry's "Mobilities".
2024年度には、ブルーノ・ラトゥールのアクターネットワーク理論に関する文献を輪読しました。2025年度は、ブルーノ・ラトゥールから大きな影響を受けて発展した「モビリティーズ研究」について、ジョン・アーリの『モビリティーズ』を読みながら考えます。授業は文献の精読とディスカッションを中心に進めます。
