The aim of the course is to elucidate precisely the advancement of consumerization in urban Tokyo, and to devise analytical techniques so that each student can attain this independently.
This class will explore the burgeoning of consumerism in the metropolises of Tokyo. The initial segment of the lesson will be devoted to examining the scholarly literature, while the subsequent segment of the session will be dedicated to performing either quantitative or qualitative research.

都市東京において消費社会化がいかに進んでいるのかについて具体的にあきらかにするとともに、各自がそれをできるように、分析手法を身につける。
The aim of the course is to elucidate precisely the advancement of consumerization in urban Tokyo, and to devise analytical techniques so that each student can attain this independently.
都市東京において消費社会化がいかに進んでいるのかについて、前半は文献を読むとともに、後半は各自の東京を対象とした調査を前提とした発表を行う。
