Understanding the notion of embeddedness as a basic perspective on economic phenomena, and sociologically recognizing the various problems behind the economic phenomena that are occurring today through the notion of embeddedness.
This course will examine perspectives and methods for sociologically examining economic phenomena through the reading of basic papers in economic sociology. With a particular focus on elucidating the contemporary characteristics of market mechanisms, the course will introduce the distinctive features of the "embedded approach" as a perspective for interpreting economic phenomena.

経済現象を捉える基本的な視点として、「埋め込みアプローチ」の特徴を理解すること、および「埋め込みアプローチ」を通して今日起こっている経済現象の背後に存在するさまざまな問題の様相を社会学的に認識すること。
Understanding the notion of embeddedness as a basic perspective on economic phenomena, and sociologically recognizing the various problems behind the economic phenomena that are occurring today through the notion of embeddedness.
この授業では、経済現象を社会学的に考える視点と方法について、経済社会学の基本論文の講読を通して検討する。とくに市場メカニズムの現代的な特徴の解明に焦点を据えて、経済現象を読み解く視点としての「埋め込みアプローチ」の特色について紹介していく。
なお、各回の講読予定文献は、経済社会学の代表的なものではあるが、ここに記したもの以外にも「多様性とイノベーション」をめぐる研究や、「労働者とメンタル」に関連する研究なども講読の候補となりうる。また、受講生の関心や授業の進捗に応じて文献が追加・変更される可能性がある。
