This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the historical background of the emergence and development of feminist theory.
The history of early feminist theories and the concepts they articulated will be reviewed. The course will then focus on the intersectional approach to feminism that is necessary to pursue gender equality in contemporary society. This course is a seminar where students can read and discuss selected titles related to feminist theories.

フェミニズム理論が登場し発展した歴史的背景や、現在の理論の潮流を知る。
This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the historical background of the emergence and development of feminist theory.
初期のフェミニズム理論が何を問題にし、それがどのような概念で明確化されてきたのかという歴史を概観する。そのうえで、現代社会においてジェンダー平等を追求するために必要なインターセクショナルなアプローチ方法について学ぶ。文献講読のセミナーである。
The history of early feminist theories and the concepts they articulated will be reviewed.
