【Course Objectives】

This course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the historical background of the emergence and development of feminist theory.

【Course Contents】

The history of early feminist theories and the concepts they articulated will be reviewed. The course will then focus on the intersectional approach to feminism that is necessary to pursue gender equality in contemporary society. This course is a seminar where students can read and discuss selected titles related to feminist theories.
