【Course Objectives】

By the end of the course, students should be able to achieve the followings in the context of sport and exercise psychology:
a) Understand the recommended procedures and methods to review literature systematically,
b) Conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis of empirical studies,
c) Present the summary of the systematic review of the studies, and
d) Write up a report of the systematic review of the studies.

【Course Contents】

This course is designed to provide students with fundamental knowledge and skills to conduct systematic review and meta-analyses adequately. Students are required to identify a psychological technique or an intervention approach to enhance individual’s motivation or performance or change their behaviors in the field of sport and exercise psychology. They will work on a systematic review of the effectiveness of the technique or intervention they are interested in.
