The objective of this class is to acquire the knowledge of Japan's Antimonopoly Act and the ability to analyze case law necessary for research in economic law, through the study of precedents under the Act.
The seminar examines important precedents concerning the major categories of regulation under the Antimonopoly Act: merger control, regulation of unreasonable restraints of trade, regulation of private monopolization, and regulation of unfair trade practices. A student gives a presentation about a precedent designated in advance, then all participants will discuss.

学部水準の独占禁止法に関する基礎的な知識が求められる。
日本の独占禁止法の先例の検討を通じて、経済法の研究をするのに必要な独占禁止法の知識と判例分析能力を獲得することを目標とする。

独占禁止法の主要な規制類型である企業結合規制、不当な取引制限の規制、私的独占の規制、不公正な取引方法の規制の重要な先例について検討する。事前に指定された先例について報告者が報告をし、参加者全体で議論する。
