The objective of this course is to learn various approaches for your own research, with focus on Public Policy.
In this course, we will learn about the latest research on Welfare State and Social Policy, and learn various approaches to Public Policy research. We open by reading basic books and articles to learn various approaches. In the second part of the class, students are expected to make research presentations according to their own research, and they will discuss methods for policy research.

政策を研究するための様々なアプローチ方法を習得し、自身の研究テーマと結びつける。
The objective of this course is to learn various approaches for your own research, with focus on Public Policy.
この授業においては、社会政策を一例として、公共政策の主体となる福祉国家に関する最新の研究を整理するとともに、政策研究のためのアプローチ方法を身につける。
はじめに、政策研究のための様々な方法論を習得するため、入門書や論文を使用し輪読を行う。
次に、福祉政治や社会政策に関する文献講読を行い、福祉国家研究および最新の研究動向を紹介する。
また、受講者の研究テーマにそった研究報告を行い、政策にいかにアプローチしていくか、議論・検討を行う。
