We will focus on the "theology of field (/place)/nothingness" that was advocated in contemporary Japan through dialogues with Buddhism. We will consider what Christian theological thought in Japan attempts to convey, treating its problems as our own.
We will read the books of (theological) philosophers that are deeply connected with the "theology of field (/place)/nothingness." Each participant will select one subject, present topics and discuss with all participants.
I plan to be flexible about the course progression and negotiate with all participants.

仏教との対話などを通して現代の日本において提唱された「場／無の神学」に着目し、そこで語ろうとしていることをわれわれにとっての問題として考察する。
We will focus on the "theology of field (/place)/nothingness" that was advocated in contemporary Japan through dialogues with Buddhism. We will consider what Christian theological thought in Japan attempts to convey, treating its problems as our own.
「場／無の神学」に深く関係している神学・哲学者による著作などを読み、各参加者が取り組みたいテーマを一つずつ取り上げ、発題してもらい、それについて参加者全員で議論する。
なお、授業の進め方などに関しては、参加者と相談の上、柔軟に対応していく予定である。
