The objectives of this course are to (1) to increase understanding and ability of New Testament exegesis and (2) to become familiar with major research on the Gospel of Luke through reading the original text of the Gospel of Luke (Greek) and considering it exegetically, as well as (3) to consider the Gospel of Luke from many perspectives through learning about significantly active topics in recent gospels research.
The Gospel of Luke is the third book in the order of books of the New Testament, and is generally considered the third composed and the highest in quality of Greek language among the New Testament gospels. Through the influence of 19th-century German progressivist ideology, including that of the Tübingen School, in past research the Gospel of Luke was considered along with its sequel the Acts of the Apostles to reflect a synthesis of Frühkatholizismus that emerged from the conflict and sublation of Jewish Christianity and gentile Christianity. Following developments in Pauline research and research concerning the natures of Second Temple Judaism and of earliest Christianity since the second half of the 20th century, however, the Jewishness of the Gospel of Luke has come to be reevaluated in recent research. In this course, along with the application of exegetical method to the text of the Gospel of Luke in order, topics to be considering over the course of the spring and autumn semesters include the following: the text form of the Old Testament as used in the Gospel of Luke, the Jewish Law in the New Testament Gospels, the characteristics of the text of the Gospel of Luke in Codex Bezae, the Gospel of Luke in recent research of the synoptic problem, and the Jewishness of the Gospel of Luke.
Participants will read commentaries for which they are responsible in modern languages. The presenters will examine the source texts in the light of all the commentaries and other freely referenced secondary literature, and present their own exegesis. This will be followed by a collaborative discussion of the exegesis of the texts from the Gospel of Luke along with other research related to the Gospel of Luke.

この授業科目の目標はルカによる福音書を原典テキスト（ギリシア語）で読み、釈義的に検討することによって、（1）新約聖書釈義の理解と能力を向上させ、(2)ルカによる福音書の主要な研究に関する知識を身に着ける。また、(3) 過去数年間の福音書研究で特に活発なトピックについて学び、それによって多面的にルカによる福音書を検討することである。

新約聖書の順序において、ルカによる福音書が三番目の書であり、一般的に新約聖書福音書の内に三番目に作成されたと考えられ、ギリシア語の品質が一番高いと評価されている。テュービンゲン学派を含め、19世紀のドイツの進歩主義思想の影響で、過去の研究では続編である使徒言行録と共に、ルカによる福音書がユダヤ教的キリスト教、異邦人的キリスト教との葛藤と止揚によって発生した古カトリシズムという合成（ジンテーゼ）を反映するものとされたが、20世紀後半以降のパウロ研究や第二神殿ユダヤ教と初期キリスト教の性質と関係に関する研究の発展に従って、最近の研究においては、ルカによる福音書のユダヤ教性が再考されてきた。本科目では、ルカによる福音書の本文に順序に釈義的方法を適用することと共に、春学期と秋学期にわたって以下等の課題を取り上げる：ルカによる福音書における旧約聖書の使用の本文、新約聖書福音書におけるユダヤ教の律法、ベザ写本のルカによる福音書の本文の特徴、最近の共観福音書問題研究におけるルカによる福音書、ルカによる福音書のユダヤ教性。
参加者は、各自が担当する現代語による注解書を読んでくる。発表者は、すべての注解書と、その他自由に参照する二次文献を踏まえつつ原典テキストを検討し、独自の釈義を発表する。その後、そのルカによる福音書の箇所の釈義と他のルカによる福音書と関連する研究に関して共同で討論を行う。
