備考/ NotesNotes |
Cross-Fields Research aims at introducing students to the significant contribution of liberal arts education to understanding and solving complex issues in the contemporary global age. The course will explore research topics from an interdisciplinary perspective through combining notions and methods of the three different fields of study (Humanities, Business and Citizenship). A special focus will be given to class discussions and activities.
Three different instructors will provide students with opportunities to understand multidisciplinary studies by introducing fundamental methods, ways of thinking and new approaches of the fields of study composing GLAP Liberal Arts curriculum: Humanities, Business and Citizenship. Sessions will mainly focus on in-class activities and open discussions. Students will be encouraged to exercise their creative ideas and innovations by applying a variety of methods and theories to topics and issues related to ethics in the contemporary global world. These practices will help students expand their knowledge as well as their academic and analytical skills. At the end of the course, all students will participate in a practical field study that will join together the three fields of study.
