・Deepen your understanding of the politics, society, and culture of the Muromachi period.
In this class, we will read the "Yamashina Keraiki," a Muromachi period diary left by Osawa, the steward of the Yamashina family. The "Yamashina Keraiki" is an extremely rare diary written by a steward of a noble family, and is an extremely valuable historical document that conveys not only the daily lives of nobles but also the trends of common people in the Kyoto suburbs.

山科家の家司である大沢氏が残した室町時代の日記『山科家礼記』を読む。『山科家礼記』は公家の家司を記主とする非常に珍しい日記で、公家の日常生活ばかりでなく、京郊地域の庶民の動向までも伝える極めて貴重な史料である。
参加者には、担当箇所についてレジュメを作成し、①読み下し、②現代語訳、③語句説明、④考察を行ってもらう（ただし④は任意）。
また参加者の人数によっては、個人研究報告を交えることもある。
