Mainly deals with postwar prose works. In doing so, we will consider the relationship between prose, time, and culture after the Great Kanto Earthquake to the Sino-Japanese War, the Asia-Pacific War, the GHQ occupation period, and the Cold War period. Through this discussion, I would like to think about the ``righteousness'' depicted in prose works.
We handle works by Kenji Miyazawa, Osamu Dazai, Kenzaburo Oe, Shichiro Fukazawa, and others.
The goal is to acquire more advanced knowledge and skills than the first semester.
This class will be held in a seminar format.
After theoretical research and mock classes, each student will present a research report on their thesis topic.
In theoretical research, we will focus on adaptation, and parody.

授業の目標およびすべての評価方法において、前期課程よりも高度な達成水準を要求する。
主として戦後の散文作品を扱う。その際には、関東大震災後、日中戦争、アジア・太平洋戦争、GHQ占領期、冷戦期における散文と時代と文化の関係を意識し考察する。考察を通じて、散文作品に描かれた「義」について考えていきたい。
宮沢賢治、太宰治、大江健三郎、深沢七郎らの作品を扱う。
前期課程よりも高度な知識、スキルを身に付けることを目標とする。

この授業はゼミナール形式で行う。
理論研究と模擬授業の後に、各自の論文課題の研究報告を行う。
理論研究においてはアダプテーション・パロディについてとりあげる。
