【授業の目標 / Course Objectives】

・『哲学探究』の主要論点を、該当箇所のテクスト根拠に基づいて精確に再構成し、複数の解釈可能性を比較検討できる。
・二次文献（主要研究・対立する解釈）を批判的に読解し、自身の解釈上の立場とその根拠を明確に提示できる。
・発表と討議を通じて、問いの立て方（問題設定）と論証（根拠・反論・応答）を洗練し、短い研究ノートとして文章化できる。

By the end of this seminar, students will be able to:
- Reconstruct central lines of argument in Wittgenstein’s Philosophical Investigations with precision, grounding their interpretations in specific textual evidence, and compare competing interpretive possibilities.
- Read major secondary literature critically (including opposed readings), and articulate their own interpretive stance and its rationale in a clear and defensible way.
- Refine their research questions and arguments through presentations and seminar discussion, and develop their work into a short research note or paper with explicit textual support and engagement with objections.

【授業の内容 / Course Contents】

本ゼミは修士課程の学生を対象に、ウィトゲンシュタイン『哲学探究』を一次文献に即して精読し、その考察の運びを読み手として再構成することを目的とする。各回、担当者が指定箇所の論点整理を行い、例・比喩・問い返しの機能に注目しながら読解を進める。あわせて主要な二次文献を参照し、解釈上の争点（複数の読みの可能性）を比較検討することで、各自の解釈上の立場と根拠を明確化する。学期後半には、討議で得た論点を踏まえて各自が研究ノートを作成し、発表と相互コメントを通じて問いと論証を洗練させる。

This seminar is designed for master’s students and aims to conduct a close reading of Wittgenstein’s Philosophical Investigations in careful engagement with the primary text, reconstructing—from the reader’s standpoint—the movement of its inquiry. In each session, a designated presenter will identify and organize the key points of the assigned passages, and we will proceed by attending to the functions of examples, metaphors, and Wittgenstein’s characteristic use of questioning. We will also consult major secondary literature and, by comparing interpretive points of dispute (i.e., multiple possible readings), clarify each participant’s interpretive position and the grounds for it. In the second half of the semester, students will produce a research note based on issues developed through discussion, and refine their questions and arguments through presentations and peer feedback.

授業前には、指定箇所を精読し、段落ごとの要点と疑問点をメモとして整理する。担当回の学生は、論点整理（要約と争点化）を行い、例・比喩・問い返しがどのような働きをしているかに注目して資料を作成・事前共有する。授業後には、討議で明確になった争点と自分の立場（暫定的でよい）を短く書き出し、関連する二次文献の該当部分を参照して理解を更新する。学期後半は、授業で得た論点を研究ノートに反映させ、改稿を継続する。

第一に、哲学の古典をじっくり読む忍耐力があること、第二に、率直に議論を行えること、第三に、外国語で哲学のテクストを読むことができること。外国語は、できればドイツ語と英語の両方のテクストが読めることが望ましいが、片方のみでも構わない。
