This course provides an opportunity to study theories and have practical experiences of Cultural Studies at postgraduate level. Participants are expected to make use of the course content in their own research, academic and doctoral thesis writing and conference presentations.
This course consists of:
- reading bibliographical materials of critical theories and cultural sociology
- analysing texts and discussions
- field research, practical projects
- research presentations

文献講読、ならびにグループプレゼンテーションや研究発表では、事前の発表準備等が必須となる。また授業中に取り扱う理論や実践活動に関して、自ら調査を行うことで、授業内容への理解を深めること。さらに、授業内容を学術論文や博士論文執筆、あるいはそれらに向けた調査研究や学会発表などに積極的に生かしながら、自身の研究調査課題を発展・深化させていくことを期待したい。

文化研究（カルチュラルスタディーズ）に関する理論的研究と文化実践を、大学院レベルでおこなっていくための視座を獲得しながら、自身の研究テーマに関する調査や、学術論文・博士論文執筆、学会等での研究発表に生かしていくこと。
This course provides an opportunity to study theories and have practical experiences of Cultural Studies at postgraduate level. Participants are expected to make use of the course content in their own research, academic and doctoral thesis writing and conference presentations.
近現代における諸文化と、社会的諸主体・権力との関係性などに関する文化批評理論などの理論研究を行うとともに、随時、フィールドワークやグループワークなどを行う。また、各自の問題意識やテーマに基づいた研究発表およびディスカッションなども実施する。
