In this course, students will be able to:
1) develop un understanding of the theories and concepts of cultural anthropology.
2) be able to apply an anthropological approach to their own research on tourism.
This course involves the critical reading of scholarly articles in cultural anthropology and its associated disciplines. Each participant is responsible for preparing a summary handout of assigned texts, highlighting the central content, points of contention, and critical questions. In addition, students will apply the theoretical perspectives presented in the foundational texts to the empirical cases featured in their own work, thereby formulating their own original analyses and discussion points.

この授業の到達目標は、次のとおりである。
1）文化人類学で用いられる理論と概念についての理解を深めること。
2）人類学的なアプローチを自身の観光研究に応用することができるようになること。
In this course, students will be able to:

この授業では、文化人類学および関連分野の論文を読む。受講者は担当論文の内容をレジュメにまとめて、内容・論点・課題や疑問を提示する。そのうえで、基本文献で提示された概念や考え方を、自身が論文で用いる事例に応用して考察や論点を提示する。
