①Students will obtain basic concepts of qualitative research methods and basic knowledge about each method.
②Students will engage in the collection and analysis of qualitative data and gain a practical understanding of qualitative research methods.
In this class, students will learn about qualitative research methods, which have been attracting much attention in recent years, with the aim of creating a foundation for their own research. In the class, students will deepen their understanding not only through lectures but also through reading research examples. In addition, students will learn practically by practicing interviews and working on qualitative data collection and its analysis.
This class is a class to learn research methods (i.e., methods) and to become aware of one's own style of practicing methods. Through homework assignments, practice of research methods, and experience in the analysis process, we hope to encourage students not only to acquire techniques but also to become more self-aware.

予習として、前授業の学習内容を振り返ってから授業に参加すること。また、研究法に関する資料および研究論文を読み、発表と議論の準備を行う。質的研究の演習はグループで実施するため、必要に応じて授業時間外に話し合いや授業の準備を行うこと。

この授業では、近年注目を集めている質的研究法について学習し、自らの研究基盤をつくることを目的とする。授業では、講義だけでなく、研究例を読み進めることで理解を深めていく。また、インタビューを実践し、質的データ収集とその分析に取り組み、実践的に学んでいく。
この授業は研究法（つまり、方法）を学ぶ授業であり、方法を実践する自分自身のスタイルを自覚する授業でもある。授業で課される宿題や、研究法の実践、分析プロセスを体験することを通じて、技法の獲得のみならず、自己への覚知を促していきたい。
